Meet Virginia
Hi, I'm Virginia — & I believe the work of becoming well & finding balance is some of the most important work we do.

I find the greatest satisfaction in supporting people in processing their experiences and learning how to better navigate their world. I value the importance of individualizing care, prioritizing communication and exploration, and establishing positive, working relationships.
My clinical experience includes work in residential crisis, school-based day treatment, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, community-based services, and outpatient counseling. I have spent the past 14 years working with children, adolescents, adults, and their families in both education and mental health settings. Since 2020, I have focused specifically on supporting older adolescents and adults in outpatient counseling via telehealth and supervising counseling interns and residents.
My goal is to be a guide and support around finding your pathways to a more balanced and fulfilled life. I have a strong interest in wellness and take a holistic approach to therapy — treating the whole person, not just the symptoms. I use a person-centered, strengths-based approach, exploring what's serving you and how to apply those strengths to areas of struggle. When it fits with the needs and preferences of the people I work with, I enjoy incorporating creative methods into therapy such as mindfulness, somatic exercises, art therapy, and narrative therapy.
